Chef Virginia is Certified Holistic Health Coach and Clean Nutrition Chef. Virginia has been practicing and refining her approach to "alternative diets," clean and healing foods, practices and techniques and working with local, organic and sustainable ingredients for over 20 years. Virginia has always had an immense affinity for food and nutrition that she practices her culinary skills in an intuitive way. 

Virginia is heartfelt and adamant about sharing her profound passion for clean foods and a holistic approach to nutrition. Given this unique role as a coach, Virginia is an important ally and a complementary addition to other modalities and health care professionals.

Nutrition is vital to all aspects of performance and recovery. Because Virginia practices holistic nutrition, she believes that nutrition is not JUST food. Food doesn't just fuel your body, it has healing properties which helps your cells regenerate and grow strong. This is why Chef V coined the phrase, "Culinary Healthcare." And of course, the wrong foods for your body can make you sick.

Your diet can help address (or stress) the gut, blood, hormones/mood/emotions, and many other systemic functions. As a nutritional chef, Virginia serves her clients by formulating the proper dietary adjustments while preparing delicious, nutrient dense foods.

Virginia believes that what you put in your body matters and plays a central role in living a healthy lifestyle.

Your body is an interconnected web of functions. The food you consume, the thoughts you allow in your mind, the type of water you drink (and how you drink it), how much your body sleeps, your hormone functions, the way you exercise–it’s all part of a living, breathing organism.

While food is a large component of holistic nutrition, it’s not just what we eat, but how and when we eat, and even the energy with which the food is prepared and enjoyed, which plays a huge role in our bodies living with ease…or dis-ease.

All coaching sessions are confidential and we approach each session with an inner calm and non-judgmental mindset. By holding a safe space for you to work through any emotions that may come up during the session, Virginia will help guide you to new perspectives, outlooks and habits.

As your action-driven guide, Virginia helps hold you to your goals. What do you want to focus on? What is the main health concern? Set that goal during the initial session and focus on progress, not perfection. When the focus is on what is going well rather than what is going wrong, distractions fall away and the client is able to move forward, feeling positive and motivated, not guilty or frustrated.
